B&C Blog: Boomer's Got Some Advice For You

Back when I was in High School they used to love to make us sit through assemblies. It was the district's go to way to educate us kids on things like how to reproduce, how to avoid the local child predator, and even how to not grow up as angry racists. However, the only thing worse than sitting through these ridiculous things was the inept morons that conducted them. I mean you try respecting someone explaining pregnancy to you with hand puppets when you're 16 years old. What these assemblies were missing was a lecturer who could capture the room with energy and opinions. A man like Boomer Esiason. Yes, the Boom put on a clinic today spewing out advice and information faster than AJ Burnett can mutilate himself. Boomer told Craig and the audience all they needed to know about such exciting topics as: Urinary Tract Infections, Parenting, and Plane Travel. In between the Boomer info fest he and Craig found time to debate the state of the Mets after the weekend in San Francisco, wonder if there's more to AJ Burnett's hand cuts,  discuss the Yankee's disrespecting Bob Sheppard, and more…

After the Mets narrowly avoided getting swept in San Francisco, Craig started the show proclaiming his brilliance after he declared the team was dead last week. Boomer then got mad at Craig's negativity saying it was bringing the Mets down. Oh, by the way, the Yankees also played this weekend. And as Craig points out: despite playing a great team, going through emotional losses, losing Andy Pettitte to injury, and getting nothing from AJ Burnett; the Yanks managed to win the series...

After the Open, the Boomer information clinic got started with a bang. Lesson 1: Urinary Tract Infections. The topic happen to come up during Jerry's update and Boomer just decided to jump in and explain them to the audience...

Now as you all know the boys were in Bermuda last week enjoying the beautiful Island. Well Craig had a little trouble getting home Friday when he missed his flight. He told the funny story this morning. Then surprise, Boomer had some more advice. This time telling Craig about all the appropriate rules for international flightListen here.

Jeez, with all that lecturing it's a wonder Craig didn't slit his wrists in the studio just to get away from it. Coincidentally, there was a big rumor going around that AJ Burnett did that after his most recent disaster of a start. Oh internet, the crazy things you come up with. Check out Craig and Boomer breaking down AJ's Palm Cut incident...

Hey, speaking of Yankee controversies, by now you've all heard how not a single Yankee player went to Bob Sheppard's funeral. Today, a caller who was at the Funeral called to express his outrage, and it inspired an interesting back and forth between Boomer and Craig about the incident...

Well we've already received tons of awesome advice today courtesy of Boomer. But this show isn't above bringing in an expert from time to time when certain topics get out of our expertise. So when the conversation this morning somehow turned to Kabbalah, Boomer and Craig brought resident Rabbi and WFAN Producer Dov Kramer in to explain this mystical (and apparently dangerous) form of Judaism...

*Note: Dov made a mistake here he wanted to tell you about. Adam's soul apparently went to David not Moses. Moses got the soul of Abel.

Alright, time for a little Moment of the Day action. In today's Moment Boomer gets violent with Craig because of his airplane etiquette. Then I give Craig and Boomer a breakdown of my vacation in the Hamptons...
***Did you miss today's show as you tried to navigate through the rain to work? Not a problem. We got the best parts of the show in this awesome little Podcast right here...***
