NEW YORK (CBS/AP) — A familiar face in morning television is changing roles.
Julie Chen, co-anchor of The Early Show on CBS will be a co-host of a daytime talk show that focuses on entertainment and news stories as seen through the eyes of mothers.
Chen, who also hosts “Big Brother” will be one of six co-hosts on the show, which will begin in October.
The new show replaces “As The World Turns” which is ending a 54-year run.
Chen and husband Leslie Moonves, president and CEO of CBS Television, welcomed their first child on Sept. 24, 2009, a boy they named Charlie.
