Wide receiver Laveranues Coles is scheduled to work out with the New York Jets on Friday in Florham Park, NJ.

The New York Daily News is reporting that Coles is expected to sign a one-year deal for the veteran’s minimum if the workout goes well.

This would be Coles’ third stint with the Jets. The veteran receiver played with Gang Green from 2000-2002 and 2005-2008, with a stint in Washington in between. Coles signed a 4-year deal with the Cincinnati Bengals after leaving the Jets, but was cut in the offseason.
