Suspect Sought in Queens Subway Station Sex Abuse

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- New York City police are looking for help to find a suspect wanted in a Queens sexual abuse.

Authorities say the man approached a 21-year-old woman at the Steinway Street subway station on July 31st and grabbed her buttocks on the northbound "E" train platform.

The victim was able to take a photo of the suspect with her cell phone camera.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 30's, approximately 5'5'' and 160 pounds.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call Crime stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS(8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime stoppers website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or by texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
