Knicks, Nets Announce Schedules

New York's regular season home schedule is highlighted by a visit from the World Champion Los Angeles Lakers on Friday, Feb. 11, two visits by the Eastern Conference Champion Boston Celtics on Wednesday, Dec. 15 and Monday, Mar. 21, two appearances by the Washington Wizards and the first overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, John Wall, on Friday, Nov. 5 and Monday, Jan. 24. Special holiday matinee home games include a Christmas Day game versus the Chicago Bulls on Saturday, Dec. 25 and the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day game versus the Phoenix Suns on Monday, Jan. 17. The team will play seven afternoon games at home.

Prior to the 82-game regular season, New York will participate in eight preseason games, including three at Madison Square Garden and two games at NBA Europe Live. Tickets for the preseason home games at MSG go on sale Tuesday, Sep. 7 at 9:00 a.m. The preseason schedule will be released later this month.

Full Schedule

The New Jersey Nets will begin their home schedule for the 2010-11 regular season on Wednesday, October 27, when they play host to the Detroit Pistons, the first of a four-game homestand during 'Premiere Week' at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey that will include an afternoon matchup with the Miami Heat on Sunday, October 31. In addition to the games with the Pistons and Heat, which usher in the Nets new temporary home at 'The Rock", the Nets will also host the Sacramento Kings on Friday, October 29 and the Charlotte Bobcats on Wednesday, November 3. All weeknight games will tip at 7:00 p.m., with the Sunday matinee game against the Heat to commence at 1:00 p.m.
