Ailing Giants Limited At Tight End
ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) The New York Giants are coming up short with tight ends.
Four of the five tight ends on the team missed practice on Tuesday with injuries, forcing offensive lineman Herb Taylor to run a few plays at the position.
Bear Pascoe was the only true tight end available. Kevin Boss, Travis Beckum and Jake Ballard were sidelined with hamstring injuries while Scott Chandler had a hip flexor.
Receivers Steve Smith (groin) and Sinorice Moss (groin) and guard Rich Seubert (hand) also missed practice.
Offensive lineman Jim Cordle left practice briefly with what appeared to be a knee injury but returned.
