Bronx Father Offering $20K Reward To Find Son's Killer

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A father in the Bronx is offering a hefty $20,000 reward to anyone with information that could lead to the capture and conviction of his son's killer.

40-year-old Kenneth Clarke Jr. was shot to death in front of his Van Nest Avenue home on July 21.

Six months earlier, armed men tried to break into Clarke's apartment, but he was able to fend them off.

At the time, police didn't say whether the two incidents were connected.

Clarke, who worked for Con-Ed in Rye and also owned a barber shop, was shot numerous times in his legs and torso as he checked his mail.  He died before paramedics could arrive at the scene.

Clarke's father is asking anyone with information to call him directly at 845-300-2420.
