Larry King's Sixth Wife Ticketed In New Jersey Crash
HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. (AP) -- New Jersey State Police ticketed one of Larry King's ex-wives in a head-on crash that left a family injured.
State Police Detective Brian Polite says Julia King was driving a Nissan Murano that collided with a Toyota Avalon on Route 9 in Bass River Township on July Fourth.
Polite says troopers issued King a careless driving summons. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
Roberta Rapisardi was driving her husband, David, and his 15-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter home after watching fireworks. The children live with David Rapisardi's ex-wife in Hackettstown.
King, who was the CNN host's sixth wife, could not be reached for comment.
