Blogger Faces Jail Time For Judge Threats
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- An internet shock jock from New Jersey faces 10 years in prison after being convicted of making threats against three federal judges.
A Brooklyn jury took two hours to find Hal Turner guilty on Friday.
Last year the North Bergen man posted on his blog "these judges must die" after they upheld a ruling supporting gun control.
Turner claimed he was a paid FBI informant trying to flush out neo-Nazis with his comments.
