Surveillance Tape Captures Suspect In Fatal NYC Stabbing

NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- Police are seeking a suspect in a fatal stabbing in Brooklyn.

The stabbing occurred at the corner of Norwood Avenue and Fulton Street.

Upon arrival, police found 19-year-old Kalvin Lantigua, of Queens, with a stab wound to the chest. Lantigua was rushed by EMS personnel to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

There have been no arrests at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.

Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the suspect wanted in the homicide. The suspect is a Hispanic male, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-7, weighing approximately 145 pounds, and he has a ponytail.

Authorities have released video obtained by surveillance camera in the hopes that someone will recognize the suspect.
