Activists Rally For Women Going Topless In NYC

NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- Some demonstrators say if Americans have the right to bear arms, they also have the right to bare breasts.

All across the country, rallies were held in support of giving women the same topless freedoms as men. Events were held in Venice, California, Miami, and in Central Park.

Not all the protestors were women. In the spirit of gender equality, some were men wore bikini tops.

Counter-demonstrators called the entire event a lewd spectacle.
