Fatal S.I. Crash Under Investigation

NEW YORK (CBS 2) — Police were investigating a deadly crash on Staten Island that killed two young men and sent four others to the hospital.

Police said the one car crash happened around 1 a.m. on Annadale Road and Arthur Kill Road in the Greenridge Section Sunday.

The vehicle all six were riding in struck a telephone pole.

The four survivors were rushed to Staten Island University Hospital North where they were listed in stable condition.

Police were investigating what caused the crash.

    I live a few blocks away and that is not a dangerous strech of road. There are traffic lights and some curves so it’s not a straightaway. No matter where you are though, if you’re going too fast or have been impaired by drugs or alcohol, you can crash. The car doesn’t even look real. It’s too bad that even this does not convince people.

    Let’s take a guess, drinking or drugs and driving too fast. What a shame. When will people get it.
