Back To Court For Cabbie Attack Suspect
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- The man arrested in the hate crime slashing of a taxi driver was due back in court Monday.
Michael Enright, 21, was facing attempted murder charges in last week's attack.
He was being held in the psychiatric ward at Bellevue Hospital.
Police said Enright reached through the cabs partition and slashed Ahmed Sharif after asking him if he was a Muslim.
Sharif suffered cuts on his neck, arms and hand.
He was later invited to City Hall by Mayor Bloomberg.
