Suspect Sought In Deadly Bronx Stabbing

NEW YORK (1010 WINS ) – Police are searching for a man who they say fatally stabbed a woman inside a Bronx home Sunday morning.

Elia Zamora, 28, was found stabbed in the torso around 4:50 a.m. at 2709 Webb Avenue in Kingsbridge Heights, police said. Zamora was taken to Montefiore Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

Police are looking to question Hector Ramirez, 30, who apparently fled the scene before cops arrived. Ramirez is described as being 5’5″ tall and weighing about 180 pounds.

No weapon was recovered at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.

i actually seen him a few times being a resident on webb ave, before the stabbing of course, they seemed like a happy little mexican family…i guess not

He’s half way to Mexico by now. I bet the Mexican authorities do a better job of keeping him from entering Mexico than the Us did of keeping him out.
