Rangers Sign Ex-Sabre Tim Kennedy

NEW YORK (AP) -- The New York Rangers have agreed to terms with free agent forward Tim Kennedy on Monday.

The 24-year-old had 10 goals and 16 assists last season with Buffalo in 78 games. He also had a goal and two assists in the playoff for the Sabres.

Kennedy, who was a rookie last season, was a two-time team scoring leader at Michigan State and won the NCAA title with the Spartans in 2007.
