Surveillance Tape Released In Upper West Side Sex Assault

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Police are searching for a man who they say sexually assaulted a woman after following her into a building on the Upper West Side early Sunday morning.

Police say the suspect threw the victim to the ground and tried to sexually assault her. The alleged attack occurred at a building on Amsterdam Avenue around 3:40 a.m.

The suspect is about 25-years-old with short black hair, about 5-foot-8 and weighs 190 pounds, police said.
