Mechanical Problem On N.Y.-Bound JetBlue Flight

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — A New York-bound Jet Blue flight landed safely at a South Florida airport after the pilot reported smelling smoke in the airplane.
Jet Blue flight 578 took off from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport at 8:15 a.m. Friday. Airport spokesman Greg Meyer says about 10 minutes after takeoff, the pilot reported a mechanical problem with the aircraft.
Jet Blue spokeswoman Sharon Jones says the pilot smelled smoke in the cabin and decided to return to the airport as a precaution.
The plane landed at the airport without incident and is being inspected by maintenance crews.
The flight had been bound for White Plains, N.Y., with 78 passengers and crew on board. The passengers were transferred to another plane .

^ No one cares about your silly smoking stories. You should also quit promoting your fruity blog. 250-300 words of annoying drivel

Moments like that on a plane will make ya reach for a smoke, well guys I smoked for 20 years, and it took me another 20 to quit. So based on my sometimes funny attempts to quit, I started a blog in the hope that maybe my silliness, may be of help to those of us who are still trying to quit. At least you’ll get a laff, mehopes. It’s short, 250 – 300 words daily. Any feedback welcome! Thanks, and enjoy!
