Kim Jones drew an interesting assignment during last night's Yankee-Rays broadcast on the YES Network and it lead to an interesting conversation about sting rays and how the Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin, met his fate. Jerry had his own theory that seemed a little unlikely; he also told the guys all about his new partner on the Columbia Football broadcasts. After all of that, Rocco showed his dedication to the Show by running into a wall, which Boomer & Craig really seemed to appreciate…

During Jerry's 8:30 update he played some audio of John Sterling and Suzyn Waldman describing the action in the top of the 7th inning last night, when Derek Jeter appeared to get hit by a pitch, when in fact the ball did not hit Jeter, it hit the knob of the bat. Well, when Craig heard Suzyn utter the words bat and knob, it was at that point that all hell broke loose…

Today marked the return of the wildly popular triva contest, Do You Know More Sports Than...Today we welcomed Samantha in and although she did not fare to well, she did leave with a nice parting gift...

Craig's old buddy Len Berman has written a new book, 'The 25 Greatest Baseball Players of All-Time', and he joined the guys in studio to talk about it. He also got a kick out of Craig reading him the letter that Len himself typed to Craig back in May of 1988, offering him a critique of his work. We also learned that Len recently got his first ever hole-in-one a few months back and somehow managed to not have to buy any drinks…

Next the guys were joined by a feisty Tom Seaver who locked horns with ole Craigie early and often. Craig asked him about PED's and if he would have used them if presented with the opportunity among other things and then Seaver offered to send a bottle of wine to Boomer and not to Craig…

For his Moment of the Day Jerry made an interesting selection, it came from the top of the 7 o'clock hour when Craig was poking fun at our Boss Mark Chernoff, for the record I didn't find anything too funny about this particular Moment…I found it to be Hilarious!!!!
