SYOSSET, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say no explosive device was found at a Long Island building that houses offices belonging to Cablevision Systems Corp.A bomb threat led authorities to clear out the building off the Jericho Turnpike in Syosset on Sunday.
Nassau County police say they received a call from Cablevision about 6:30 p.m. They couldn’t immediately say how many people were in the building at the time of the threat.
Police are trying to determine who made a threatening call to the company.
Cablevision spokeswoman Kim Kerns says the company is cooperating with authorities. She says the company will have no further comment.
