Prosecutors: NY Man Admits Beating Toddler

NEW YORK (AP) — Prosecutors said a Brooklyn man accused in the beating death of his girlfriend’s 2-year-old son admitted he punched and body-slammed him.

Reginald Williams was arraigned Sunday on murder, manslaughter and assault in the death of Aiyden Davis. The boy was found unresponsive Friday inside the couple’s apartment.

Williams pleaded not guilty. His lawyer said some of Williams’ statements to police were taken out of context.

The boy’s mother, Teresa Taylor, was not home at the time. But prosecutors say she admitted she also beat the child earlier in the month. She was arraigned on charges of assault, criminal possession of a weapon and endangering the welfare of a child.

Her lawyer said she was a good mother.

The ME said the cause of death was blunt impact injuries to his head, torso and extremities.

If I were to meet this man or woman I would beat them until they were dead.

I am a mother of a 2 year old and I cried my hardest cry ever while holding him. It hurts me to hear that things like this, THERE IS NO NEED FOR SOMETHING SO SENSELESS TO TAKE PLACE. Children are beautiful, innocent blessings and if those monsters couldn’t handle this type of gift there are others that would have loved him unconditionally. Their punishment should be to suffer the EXACT SAME FATE AND ABUSE that this little angel suffered. I do agree with Larry, he is resting in peace with God and the other angels.

This is a sad, sad story, but the case is simple: no trial, no jury, straight to execution.

This iis sad, and this guy deserves an old fashion “tree hanging…” I would also suggest we break out the “horse whip before the hanging…

Taylor’s lawyer needs to leave her or his children with these two and we will see wha kind of mother she is! Give me a break, these two need to be put away for a long time and receive the same treatment in prison they cast upon that innocent two year old child.

As a mother of a 14 month old I am beside myself with anger and sadness. What can a 2 year old posiibly do to deserve this? Personally, I would spare the court and the tax payer the expense of incarceration. I hope this sucker gets roomed with a dude named Bubba who hates child abusers
