NJ Doc Admits To Possessing Child Pornography

TRENTON, N.J. (AP) -- A pediatric neurologist in New Jersey has pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography.

Under terms of the plea agreement, Ross Finesmith will be permanently barred from practicing medicine in any state.

The 49-year-old Basking Ridge resident faces probation and psychological treatment when he's sentenced on Jan. 13.

Finesmith was indicted in 2005 as a result of Operation Guardian. The investigation led to the arrest of 39 people in New Jersey on charges of downloading child porn videos.
