Preschool Teacher’s Aide Fatally Stabbed In Newark

NEWARK, N.J. (AP) — Authorities in Newark have charged an ex-boyfriend with fatally stabbing a preschool teacher’s aide on her way to work.

Acting Essex County Prosecutor Robert Laurino says Estol Molina was taken into custody about two hours after Erica Ortiz-Fuentes was stabbed at 7:45 a.m. Thursday as she was about to enter the Newark Preschool Council building.

Employees rushed to her aid, but Ortiz-Fuentes died at University Hospital about 15 minutes later.

The 36-year-old Ortiz-Fuentes was the mother of four children.

Molina has been charged with murder and weapons offenses and is being held on $1 million bail. Authorities did not say if he had retained an attorney.

Drop his sorry arse into Jupiter and let the gravirtational forces rip him apart. Or, exile him to the Moon to do physical labor. The spectre of prison doesn’t even deter criminals anymore. People are so inured that nothing is a deterrent if they’re intent on killing someone.
