EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — New York Giants defensive lineman Mathias Kiwanuka will not play in Sunday night’s game against the Chicago Bears because of a bulging disc.

The Giants announced Friday that Kiwanuka has a bulging cervical disc, but had no immediate report on how long the injury might sideline him. Kiwanuka has been the team’s best defensive player this season and leads the Giants with three sacks.

In other Giants injury news, the team said Pro Bowl center Shaun O’Hara will miss his second straight game with ankle and Achilles’ tendon issues. And linebacker Keith Bulluck has been listed as doubtful with a turf toe.
