Giants' Defense KO's 2 Chicago Quarterbacks

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Chicago Bears quarterbacks Jay Cutler and Todd Collins were knocked out of Sunday night's 17-3 loss against the New York Giants.

Third-year pro Caleb Hanie took over late in the fourth quarter. Hanie played in two games last season, completing 3 of 7 passes.

"You get pressured like that, it's tough to do anything," Bears coach Lovie Smith said.

"It's tough to see anyone get hit like that, especially our quarterback," Bears linebacker Brian Urlacher said. "I don't know what happened, but he didn't go back in so it's probably not good."

Cutler was sacked nine times in the first half and didn't return for the third quarter because of a concussion. Cutler was 8 of 11 for 42 yards and an interception.
