What a Sunday it was for New York football fans, as the Jets and Giants both won in beat-down fashion. The Jets are playing lights-out, and the offense is clicking on all cylinders. Mark Sanchez is protecting the football, LaDainian Tomlinson is running wild, and Dustin Keller has been a revelation. Are the Jets now the class of the AFC East?

After taking tons of heat for their lackluster play so far this season, the Giants game out a-blazin’ against the Bears. The defense racked up an incredible 10 sacks, knocking out both Jay Cutler and his backup en route to a decisive 17-3 win. Tiki Barber, as expected, was booed by Giants fans prior to the game.

The Yankees lost on Sunday to complete a miserable September – and will now face the Twins in the ALDS.

All that, the Mets season finally comes to an end, and more on today’s radio program…
