NEW YORK (CBS 2/ 1010 WINS/ AP) -- New York City police say two men found shot to death inside an SUV were possible witnesses in two other slayings but had not yet spoken to investigators.

The men, one 22 and the other 26, were found with gunshot wounds in their heads at about 4 a.m. Monday on East 19th Street near Broadway in the swank Gramercy neighborhood of Manhattan. Their names were not released.

Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly says they were coming from Club Roam. Surveillance video shows two people near the SUV but does not show the actual shooting. Police are searching for suspects.

Kelly says the men were wanted for questioning in separate unsolved slayings in Coney Island last year.

Police are looking at whether they may have been targeted because investigators wanted to talk to them. They are also looking at whether they got into a fight sometime before the shooting.

Witnesses on the block said they heard screaming and a mass of people running away from the club.
