Boomer & Craig are both taking this 'Mets Fans for Yankees' thing pretty seriously.  This morning they both had an extra bounce in their respective steps as the Yankees took a commanding 2-0 series lead on the Twins and are now heading home for Game 3, which will take place Saturday night in the Bronx.  Craig was so giddy in fact that he even credited Brian Cashman, or the 'weasel' as Craigie affectionately refers to him as, for his moves to obtain Curtis Granderson and Lance Berkman, who both played significant roles in last night's 5-2  win.  Couple the Yankees win with the release of the alleged photos of Brett Favre's 'junk' and Craig was singing the praises of God himself.  So on this Football Friday edition of the B&C Morning Extravaganza, the guys certainly discussed the pigskin of course, but they also talked a whole lotta baseball as well…

Plus, a debate of who God loves more broke out during Jerry's first update of the day, Yankee legend Tino Martinez in-studio, Jets young stud tight-end Dustin Keller tells us what he knows about Favre's 'junk', we hear a brand new Yankees song courtesy of Fo Onassis and the gang, 'Grandy-Candy' 'Boomer-Bars' and an Incarcerated caller, 'Yank-Tober' and guess the 'junk', Charley Casserly checks in, Jerry's Moment of the Day, the guys expert NFL Picks and an 'Attention Grabber' worth a second look…

Before he got to his update, Jerry declared himself huggable and Boomer agreed, which was weird.  Then Jerry started his first update of the day, which morphed into a debate of who God would loves more, Andy Pettitte or Texas Rangers centerfielder Josh Hamilton.  San Francisco Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum made quite an impression in his first post season start, striking out 14 Braves in a complete-game shut-out.  More on the alleged photos of Favre's 'junk' and rolls of nickels and stacks of dimes…

The guys were talking about the 'Purity of the Pinstripes' all morning and then they were joined by former Yankee great and 4-time World Series Champion, Tino Martinez.  Tino talked about his time with the Bombers and he also had a few interesting things to say about Lou Piniella, with whom he is very close to, and the Mets vacant Managerial position…

Jets tight-end Dustin Keller has quickly become Mark Sanchez's go-to-guy early on this season.  The proof is in the pudding as he leads the Jets in receptions (19), receiving yards (254) and TD's (5).  He joined Boomer & Craig this morning to talk about Gang Green's 3-1 start and their upcoming tilt with Brett Favre and the Vikings on Monday night.  Speaking of Favre, Craig asked Keller the awkward question of whether or not he's seen the future Hall of Famer's roll of nickels…

Last year a fella by the name of Fo Onassis made a song, along with the lovely Mina, paying tribute to the Yankees called 'Here Come the Yankees'.  Fo and Mina came in and performed the song in-studio for Boomer and Craig and then the Yanks went on to win the World Series.  So with that in mind, Craig told Al to reach out to them and it turns out they have re-written the catch tune and we gave it a listen this morning…

With Curtis Granderson coming up big thus far in the postseason and Halloween right around the corner, a caller suggested a line of candy should be created for the 'Grandy-Man'.  Boomer then informed us that he once had a candy bar when he was playing for the Bengals, a 'Boomer Bar'.  That of course got Craig's wheels spinning and he came up with the idea of a B&C Candy bar.  Then our boy 'Incarcerated' Bob called in and put everything into perspective…

Boomer's buddy Charley Casserly checked in with the guys on this Football Friday Show.  Charley is the former GM of the Houston Texans, the Giants opponent this Sunday.  These days he can be seen on 'The NFL Today'  Sunday's along with Boomer, Casserly serves as the show's insider and he broke down the Randy Moss trade back to Minnesota among other hot topics around the league…
