“Scream” Bandit Attempts Robbery On Long Island

FARMINGDALE, NY (AP) – A would-be bandit wearing a “Scream” thriller movie mask tried to hold up a doughnut shop on Long Island.

Nassau County police say the thief walked into a Dunkin’ Donuts in Farmingdale just before midnight on Tuesday brandishing a silver handgun and demanding money.

An employee, washing trays, told the New York Post that he turned the water on the bandit, hitting him in the grotesque mask. The thief, clad all in black, fled empty-handed.

Police ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800 244-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.

In July, a bank robber dressed as “Star Wars” villain Darth Vader made off with an undetermined amount of cash at a Long Island Chase bank branch.

Good thinking! I bet he never saw that coming; being chased off by water. Who was he? The Wicked Witch of the West?

Thats funny. Fled because of water. I still think that the Darth Vader robber was the best one yet. Still wrong. It’s crazy how people still rob banks.
