Demonstrators Protest At NYC Cemetery Accused Of Racism

NEW YORK (CBS 2) — There’s unrest at a Bronx cemetery, as dozens picketed outside Woodlawn Cemetery on Saturday, carrying signs and asking to bury racism.

The demonstrators claim cemetery management discriminates against minorities.

Following an independent investigation into earlier reports of racism, the cemetery said they were implementing significant changes to training practices and personnel.

The facility could not be reached for comment.
