Camp Counselor In NJ Charged With Sexual Assault

WEST MILFORD, NJ (AP) - Authorities have charged a female camp counselor from Rhode Island with sexually assaulting two teenage boys in New Jersey.

The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office says 23-year-old Jessica Fenton had sex with the 16- and 17-year-old in her tent.

The boys, who are from Orange, N.J., were on a camping trip Aug. 7 and 8 at the Wildcat Mountain Wilderness Center in Wawayanda State Park.

Authorities told The Record newspaper one of the boys had confided in an adult who had been on the trip.

Police arrested the Charlestown, R.I., resident on two counts of second-degree sexual assault in West Milford, where she has a temporary residence.

It was not immediately clear whether Fenton has retained an attorney.
