After Storm Clean-Up Continues In Queens

NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- The clean-up continued Sunday in Queens after several trees fell in Hollis.

A huge branch tumbled onto a house on 215th Street, slamming into its roof and gutters. It came down just steps away from where an entire tree crashed to the ground Friday due to the high winds.

No one was hurt but the block turned into a branch-filled mess.

"My grandmother had called us while we was in the city, and said oh, there's a tree in your yard, and we're like what?" said resident Tyanna Williams.

"I'm just glad all of this is gonna be removed. Come home and this is what you see, not really pretty," said resident Erika Whitfield.

City inspectors plan to look at all the trees on the block to make sure they're in good shape.
