Hot Topic: October 22

Boomer & Carton kicked off the unofficial Yankees pregame party early on Friday morning, as the Bombers face elimination with Phil Hughes on the hill. Hughes gets the ball with a chance to make a name for himself and earn his Yankee pinstripes. Will Phil keep the Yankees alive, or will he falter for the second straight game in Texas?

If Hughes stinks, the Yankees’ ‘hefty lefty’ CC Sabathia will be waiting in the bullpen to provide some disaster relief.

Also a hot topic on Friday morning is the NFL’s new stance on helmet-to-helmet hits. The NFL provided a video to all 32 NFL teams outlining the do’s and dont’s. Watch it here…

All that, the Phillies force the NLCS back to Philly for Game 6, football Friday picks, Gus Johnson, John Elway, and Jason Witten call in, and more on today’s radio program…

I am surprised that grown men find it hard to go out alone. After the divorce I knew I couldn’t depend on others to go places. I have been to Club Med, gone to dinner, gone to bars and elsewhere by myslef. No I do not pretend to be busy. I do serious guy watching and talk to people around me. It’s easy once you do it a few times. Now boys grow up and have some fun alone other than self pleasuring.
