NJ Man Accused Of Killing Girlfriend

ELIZABETH, N.J. (AP) -- Authorities have charged a northern New Jersey man in the stabbing death of his 21-year-old live-in girlfriend.

The Union County prosecutor said investigators arrested Bertin Rodriguez-Reyes in Lakewood around 5 a.m. Tuesday.

The 30-year-old's girlfriend, Jackeline Guillen, was found slain in their Elizabeth apartment on Monday.

Rodriguez-Reyes was held at the Union County Jail on $1.5 million bail. His first court appearance has not been scheduled and it's not clear whether he has retained a lawyer.
