12-Year-Old Charged With Threatening CT Schools
SHELTON, CT (AP) - A 12-year-old girl and two teenage girls are facing charges in connection with bomb threats at Shelton schools.
Police say the 12-year-old girl was quickly identified as a suspect after a note with a threat was found Thursday at Shelton Intermediate School. The threat was quickly determined to be a hoax and school was not interrupted. The girl was charged with first-degree falsely reporting an incident and second-degree breach of peace.
Two Shelton High School girls, ages 16 and 17, are facing charges in connection with an Oct. 21 threat at the school.
Police say girls are charged with first-degree falsely reporting an incident, first-degree conspiracy to commit falsely reporting an incident and second-degree breach of peace.
No names were released because the suspects are juveniles.
