TEANECK, N.J. (CBS 2) — Thousands were expected to turn out Saturday for the funeral of Teaneck Police Officer John Abraham.
Abraham was working a double shift early Monday morning when his patrol car slammed into a telephone pole outside police headquarters.
He was pronounced dead a short time later at the hospital.
Just hours earlier, Officer Abraham had saved the life of a man who was choking at a nearby restaurant.
