Jets' Cotchery On WFAN: Loss Was A 'Nightmare'

NEW YORK (WFAN/AP) -- Jets wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery joined Joe Benigno & Evan Roberts to recap Sunday's miserable 9-0 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

"It was a nightmare in the daytime," said the upset veteran.

A promising Jets drive short-circuited in the second quarter when Tramon Williams ripped the ball out of Cotchery's hands for an interception while the two were on the ground. The play was challenged by Ryan, but upheld by replay review.

"We had a slant route called, he jumped inside on the slant," said Cotchery of the play. "We both went for the ball... once we hit the ground I relaxed a little bit."

As sure-handed as Cotchery has been throughout his Jets career, he had two drops in the fourth quarter.

"I know how to bounce back from play to play. They were just doing a great job of attacking the ball."

"We had a good week of practice. It just didn't translate into the success we needed on Sunday."

Cotchery and the Jets get a chance to turn things around Sunday at Detroit (2-5).
