Giants Readying For Noise In Seattle

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — Along with the usual issues of inclement weather and outrageous noise that go with playing at Seattle's Quest Field, the Giants may also have to face the Seahawks with a backup center.

Adam Koets took all the first-unit snaps at Wednesday's practice as 33-year-old starter Shaun O'Hara sat with a sprained joint in his right foot. O'Hara is expected to have a two-to-four week recovery period, so it is likely Koets will get his fourth start of the season, and his first career action in one of the NFL's noisiest stadiums.

Koets has never played when surrounded by that kind of sound, but coach Tom Coughlin said he's not concerned about any communications gap between center, quarterback, and guards.
