"When I do see the posters, I'm like 'Oh, there's me! That's funny!'. Then I'm like 'Oh G-d, why am I not running right now?'," Velasquez told WCBS 880 reporter Marla Diamond.

The 30-year-old graphic designer from Brooklyn posed for a friend in her running clothes and New York City Marathon officials liked the look.

She says, "It's a little intense, but, at the same time, it's kind of, I guess it's part of the feat for me. You know, I have to run this crazy marathon and I'm everywhere. So, that's like the kick in the butt I needed."

This is Veronica's first marathon - and New York City is watching.
