N.Y. Races Still Up In Air
NEW YORK (WCBS 880) – The majority control of the New York state Senate is still uncertain as the official results from two races are still up in the air, WCBS 880's Sophia Hall reports.

The two remaining counties where results are still being recorded are Erie County and Nassau County.
In Nassau County, Democrat incumbent Craig Johnson is trailing Republican challenger Jack Martins, who has a 415-vote lead.
Elsewhere on Long Island, the Assembly race between Democrat incumbent Marc Alessi and Republican Dan Losquadro is still close.
Another race pitting Congressman Tim Bishop (D) against Randy Altschuler (R) is still undecided, but Bishop leads by about 3,500 votes.
Absentee votes should be counted by the end of next week.
