NEW YORK (CBS 2) — It’s the weekend we look forward to all year. As Daylight Saving ends, we’ll get one extra hour of sleep overnight.

Broadway’s Spiderman and Hot Dog, the FDNY mascot, were out on Friday to remind us to turn back our clocks one hour early Sunday morning.

They also held a fire safety demonstration for some enthusiastic youngsters from Sacred Heart Of Jesus Elementary School.

This weekend is also a good time to change the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
