Woman Pleads Not Guilty In Tossing Boy From Balcony
NEW YORK (CBS 2) – The woman accused of a tossing a 2-year-old boy off a seventh floor balcony in Queens is being held without bail.
Xiao Cai pleaded not guilty during her bedside arraignment at Elmhurst Hospital on Friday.
She's charged with murder and assault.
Prosecutors say the 53-year-old woman was arguing with her daughter inside the apartment, which they shared with the parents of the young boy.
Cai allegedly threw the child out the window in a fit of rage.
