ELMONT, N.Y. (CBS 2) – Police say a man was shot and killed in Elmont, Queens on Saturday night.

At 10:45 p.m., police responded to a report of a man shot near 227-13 109th Ave. where a man was lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to his dead.

EMS arrived and declared the victim dead on the scene.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

Police did not release the victim’s name since they were still contacting the family.
