Police: Teen Shot In Coney Island Building

NEW YORK (CBS 2) – A 18-year-old male was shot in the torso in a building in Coney Island early Sunday morning, police said.

Police responded to a report of a person shot inside 2839 W. 33rd St. at 1:15 a.m. They found a man shot in the torso.

EMS took the victim to Coney Island Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing

Officials did not release the victim's name.
