'Wimpy Kid' Sets Flight For Macy's Parade

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (CBS 2) – Officials prepped for this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on Saturday, launching a test flight for a new feature.

Officials sent "Greg" from the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" series in the air in a test launch from the Meadowland's Racetrack.

"Greg" is one of the new balloons in this year's parade.

"Kung Fu Panda" will also make his debut this year, along with an old favorite, the Kool Aid Man.
