Giants' Fill-In C Koets Out For Season

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — New York Giants center Adam Koets tore ligaments in his knee and will miss the rest of the season.

Koets was hurt Sunday in a 41-7 win at Seattle while he was filling in for regular center Shaun O'Hara. The team didn't say in which knee he tore the anterior cruciate ligament.

He made three starts while O'Hara's was out.

Another key offensive lineman, tackle/guard David Diehl, is being examined by doctors for a hip injury sustained Sunday.
