Attempted Murder Charges For Man In Dave and Buster's Stabbing
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- The man accused of repeatedly stabbing an 8-year-old boy in a Long Island restaurant will face attempted murder charges.
Evan Sachs, a 23-year-old movie theater worker from Merrick, has also been indicted on several other charges.
Police said he randomly plunged a knife into the child five times at a Dave and Buster's in Westbury.
The little boy survived.
If convicted, Sachs faces up to 25 years in prison.
