Giants Place Koets On Injured Reserve

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (AP) — The New York Giants have placed center Adam Koets on injured reserve and activated offensive lineman Kevin Boothe off the physically unable to perform list.

The Giants also announced that Koets and long snapper Zak DeOssie signed two-year contract extensions. Both players were in the final years of their deals.

New York also waived receiver Sinorice Moss from the injured reserve list.

Koets, who started three games this season, tore an anterior cruciate ligament in Sunday's 41-7 win over Seattle.

Boothe tore a pectoral muscle in the offseason. He has been practicing for two weeks.
