NEW YORK (AP) - Rapper Foxy Brown says she’ll fight charges of violating a court order stemming from a confrontation with her neighbor in New York City.
Her lawyer, Salvatore Strazullo, refused to accept a plea deal in the case during a court hearing Tuesday.
Brown, whose real name is Inga Marchand, said: “We will fight this.”
Justice John Walsh set a Feb. 7 trial date.
Brown was arrested in July for violating a restraining order after screaming at neighbor Arlene Raymond before bending over, baring her buttocks and showing her underwear while shouting an obscenity.
The two had been in an earlier dispute over Brown blasting her car stereo outside their Brooklyn building.
Brown faces one year in prison on a misdemeanor charge of violating the protection order.
