Former NY Islanders employee, and current blogger of NYI Point Blank, Chris Botta joined Mike Francesa Thursday to talk all things Islanders. It was reported earlier in the day that Botta had lost his Nassau Coliseum media credential because the Islanders thought he was ‘making himself the news rather than reporting the news.’ Botta explained his side of the story.

Botta then went in depth with Francesa about the Isles. Botta said the players are much happier with the type of system they are playing in now after the firing of Scott Gordon. Botta also talked about the future of the Islanders with Charles Wang at the head of the organization.
