Cops: Chelsea Mugger Attacked Woman With Brick

NEW YORK (CBS 2/ 1010 WINS) -- The hunt is on for a mugger who police say viciously attacked a woman in Chelsea with a brick.

Police said the suspect came up behind the 30-year-old woman on West 18th Street last Tuesday around 2 a.m., hit her in the head with a brick and then took her money before fleeing.

The victim was listed in stable condition.

The suspect is believed to be in his 30s. He was last seen wearing a gray/green hoodie, blue jeans and black sneakers.
